WELCOME TO PUZZLEDAY
Puzzleday is a fun 8-hour event where teams of 10-12 players solve puzzles. We accept puzzle solvers of all levels! Check out our FAQ and Rules pages for more information or to request accommodations.
NEW TO PUZZLES?
You may know about jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and Sudoku puzzles, but that's just the beginning! Puzzleday puzzles also have a tendency to get… creative, so you might see something that looks especially strange! Check out a few sample puzzles or peruse our collection of puzzles from past events.
FULL SCHEDULE (all times PDT)
June 29 - July 7 (optional)
A variety of pregame puzzles for fun and learning how to use our website. You don't even need to be on a team to see them! If you are already on a team, click "Puzzles" at the top of the page, and then click "Pregame Puzzles".
The first 2 puzzles will release on June 29th, with 2 more following on June 30th, July 5th, and July 6th. One final puzzle will release on July 7th.
July 8 - DAY OF EVENT
- 9:30 Meet in 33/McKinley to sign in and get important information.
- 10:00 Opening ceremony and receive your puzzles.
- 10:15-5:00 Solve puzzles in your assigned conference rooms.
- 5:15-6ish Meet in 33/McKinley to celebrate the winners, see the solutions, and chat with the puzzle creators.

CLICK HERE to create a team and/or look for teams who are open to new members.
By the time the event starts, teams must have at least 6 interns present on the Redmond campus during the event. Teams can include remote interns. Teams can include 1 or 2 non-Microsoft-employee guests. Recommended team size is 10-12.
On July 8th if your team has fewer than 6 people, you will need to combine with another team. If you need help doing this, let us know and we'll help!
